TCS workers are in trouble
Tata Group subsidiary TCS has announced reduction in salary and leave of employees. Since the COVID19 pandemic, Tata's IT firm has started 'work from home'. According to the organization, many workers do not want to come to the office even after the pandemic is over.
However, earlier instructions were given to come to office for at least 12 days every month. TCS recently have informed that, work from home can be done, but must come to office at least 12 days in a month. Violation of this rule will result in disciplinary action. News Dhaka Post.
Salaries may be deducted from employees' salaries as part of this. Deductions can be made even on vacation.
"You have been warned and directed to work from the office address as per the prescribed roster immediately," said a letter to the employees.
It is to be noted that TCS had issued guidelines in October last year and said that the employees should come to the office for at least 3 days. A few days ago, it was announced by the organization that work from home will not be encouraged other than illness.
